Grand Blanc Parks and Recreation Men’s League (Tues Nights) for 2011, please read the following information and adhere to the following dates.  We will follow the same format as last year, playing Double Headers.  The league will play one night a week, playing the same team twice, therefore playing double headers each night.

Tuesday May 3rd:   An 8 team DOUBLE HEADER LEAGUE.  Each team plays opponent in a double header each week - until round is completed (14 games).  All teams advance to playoffs.  Teams are guaranteed 16 total games. (Based on 8 teams)  Game Times:  6:15 & 7:30 p.m.

We have changed our fee structure and eliminated the player’s fee aspect of payment since it seemed to be the most confusing and hard to collect.   We now have a deposit and a balance, which combined equals $825.00 for the season.  Talking to players, this should also help teams who have sponsors more easily collect their sponsorship funds.

Date TBA:     $250.00 NON\REFUNDABLE deposit is due at the Parks and Recreation office.  Beginning March 1st registration will be open to ANY team regardless if they played last year or not.

Date TBA:    Balance (Team fee) ($575.00) is due at the Parks and Recreation office.

May 3rd:    First night of league play.  A preliminary roster must be turned into the softball supervisor before the start of your game.

May 17th:    Final rosters are due and should be given to the softball supervisor before the start of your game.  The preliminary roster will act as a final roster if not submitted by this date.  Also all teams are to have proper uniforms at this time.
